Christmas Cut Offs
Any orders with free or standard shipping method need to be placed by the following dates to arrive before the 25th of December. We now have Aus Post Express available (free for domestic orders over $100) up until the 18th for Christmas delivery. If you've missed the cut off or it's getting close please email firstname.lastname@example.org to get an estimate.

Processing & Delivery Timeframes
Generally we will process your order (pick, pack, prepare for dispatch) within 1-3 business days. We ship with carbon neutral courier service Sendle. Once your order has been prepared for dispatch you will receive an email with tracking details to follow and within a couple of business days you should see it moving towards you.
- Melbourne, Adelaide: 1-5 days
- Canberra, Brisbane, Sydney: 2-6 days
- Hobart: 3-9 days
- Perth: 5-9 days
- Darwin: 4-12 days
Please allow an extra 3-5 days for rural and outer metro suburbs. Delivery timeframes are in business days and do not include processing times and transit delays.
We may ask for an alternative address if you have entered a post office box, parcel locker, parcel collect, LPO or any Australia Post owned affiliate address as Aus Post restricts our couriers delivering to them and we attempt to deliver carbon neutral first. If there is no suitable alternative for you, please let us know and we can arrange to ship with Aus Post.
You have the option of ‘Authority to Leave’ or ‘Signature on Delivery’ at checkout. Please consider which is best for you.
‘Authority to Leave’ gives couriers permission to find somewhere to leave the your parcel if it’s perceived safe at time of delivery. While the benefit of this option is that most parcels are delivered on the first attempt and you don’t need to be home, the responsibility is passed to you once a parcel marked delivered. Vege Threads cannot be held accountable for lost or stolen parcels with this method.
‘Signature on Delivery’ (or rather ‘Do not Leave’ during covid) gives us the option to enter any specific instructions you require and means your parcel won’t be delivered unless someone is there to receive it in person. When someone is unavailable to sign, couriers either attempt re-delivery the next day or leave a slip to pickup from a collection point instead.

Duties and taxes are not included in international orders - please check expected taxes in your country to avoid disappointment on delivery. Vege Threads is not responsible for reimbursement of import taxes you may encounter on delivery.
Due to international flight cancellations and subsequent delays, we have suspended some international destinations for now. Current estimated delivery timeframes below:
- New Zealand (10-20 business days)
- North America, Western Europe, Asia and the Pacific (21-28 business days)
- Rest of the world (25-30 business days)
Late or Missing Parcel

If you are still waiting for your parcel, give it an extra couple of days. Over 98% of parcels are delivered within 2 business days of the last delivery estimate date. If it has been longer than this, get in touch. It is important you carefully enter your correct address and review again after checkout, as we are able to make changes before dispatch but once your parcel is on its way to an incorrect address we are unable to re-direct.
Before submitting an investigation or late parcel inquiry we recommend letting our team handle this for you as there is a chance we will miss the window to claim the contents of your parcel and therefore be out of options to offer you in the rare case your parcel does go missing in transit.
We are always here to help with any questions and assist with your tracking. It is important you choose the best shipping method for your circumstance, inputting your address correctly, picking up your parcel from collection point on time and keeping up to date with your tracking. In the case that your parcel is returned to us, there will be shipping costs for resending your parcel. Once a parcel is marked delivered we are unable to claim the contents of your parcel and therefore provide any compensation in the case of theft or delivery to an incorrectly inputted address.
