Amy founded Vege Threads in 2013, driven by a passion for sustainable clothing and a commitment to supporting local makers. After more than a decade of building this Australian-made basics label, she chose to step away for an extended break to focus on growing her family.

With the relaunch of VT 2.0, Amy hopes to welcome a new phase of growth and maturity, one that reflects both her personal journey and the evolution of the brand. She embraces a lifestyle that continues to inspire her thoughtful approach to design and sustainability.

Now a mother of two, she is driven to create well-made, locally produced basics that support our ever changing bodies through the many seasons of life. She draws inspiration from the cycles of health and natures colours and textures, which are always reflected in the VT palette. She lives among the gum trees with her children, Maggie and Kipp, her partner Mike, and their dog, Noni.
